Peter Metzinger

Peter Metzinger is a physicist, campaigning pioneer, and founder of Mr. Campaigning AG and ReclaimTheFacts. Since 1982, he has conceived and managed sophisticated campaigns for companies, associations, and NGOs—from ABB to the World Economic Forum—focusing on strategic communication, change management, and political influence. With ReclaimTheFacts, he leverages his experience in dealing with complex narratives and crisis communication to strengthen fact-based decisions and expose disinformation.

Rui Biagini is a political scientist and political philosopher. He is a campaigner and politician. Since 2022, he has been developing formats at ReclaimTheFacts that enable organizations and teams to recognize and effectively counter disinformation, and he was a driving force behind the project’s successful crowdfunding campaign. Together with Peter Metzinger, he authored the “Handbook of 33 Disinformation Techniques,” which systematically breaks down typical manipulation patterns and explains them using practical examples.
